Storm damage, beyond the roof — done the right way.
Hail and wind don’t stop at the shingles. We walk the whole property, document what we find with photos and plain-English notes, and give you one clear scope for the repairs you choose.
What hail and wind typically damage
Damage is often easy to miss from the ground. Here’s what we check on every storm walkthrough.
Gutters & downspouts
Dents and dings along the face, crushed downspout elbows, and seams pulled loose by wind.
Window screens
Torn or punctured mesh and bent frames — often the easiest damage to spot from inside.
Windows & seals
Cracked glass, chipped frames and failed seals that fog between the panes.
Fencing
Leaning sections, snapped pickets and posts loosened by wind.
Siding & trim
Cracks, chips and holes in siding, plus split or loosened trim boards.
Exterior paint & stain
Spatter marks and chips where hail hit painted or stained surfaces.
AC condenser fins
Bent or flattened fins on the outdoor unit that restrict airflow.
Garage doors
Dents in metal panels that may affect how the door looks and runs.
Decks
Gouged boards, damaged railings and finishes worn through by hail.
Interior ceilings & drywall
Water stains, bubbling paint and soft spots from leaks above.
What to do after a storm
Stay safe
Watch for downed lines, broken glass and anything loose overhead. Don’t climb onto a roof.
Take photos
Photograph damage, debris and hail size (next to a coin or ruler) with dates on your phone.
Cover active leaks if it’s safe
Buckets, towels and a tarp from the inside can limit water damage while you wait.
Contact your insurance company
If you think you have storm damage, call your insurance company to request an inspection. Policy questions go to your insurance agent.
Call us for a walkthrough
We’ll walk the whole property, document what we find, and explain it in plain English.
How we work with storm projects
- A full-property photo walkthrough — outside and in.
- Plain-English findings: what we found, and damage consistent with hail or wind impact versus normal wear.
- We can be there when your adjuster inspects, to explain what we found.
- One written scope for the repairs you choose, managed start to finish.
How insurance fits in
We document storm damage with photos and plain-English notes, and we can be there when your adjuster inspects the property to explain what we found. We’re contractors, not public adjusters — your claim is between you and your insurance company, and we don’t negotiate or file it for you.
If storm damage is found, it may be covered depending on your policy. Your insurance company makes that decision. For questions about your policy, talk to your insurance agent. If you disagree with a claim decision, a licensed public adjuster or attorney can help.
Texas law requires homeowners to pay their insurance deductible. We will never offer to waive or cover it.
